Combat Stress
Working alongside "Help for Heroes", Combat stress provides
specialised psychological care to Veterans returning from front-line service
with mental health problems, helping them find a way back into their lives,
families and communities.
With the Armed Forces continung their high operational tempo, more and more
Veterans are seeking help. Over the last four years there has been a 66%
increase in new referrals and currently over 4,000 cases are uner care.
To help Veterans rebuild their lives, Combat Stress provides access to
specialist, clinical treatment at one of their short-stay residential centres
in Ayrshire, Shropshire and Surrey.
